Web Development
UX designer portfolio
Challenge
The client, a UX designer, needed a professional online presence to showcase her projects and case studies. Her goal was to create a digital portfolio that would help her secure long-term employment. The website had to be:
clear and easy to manage,
scalable for future growth (adding new projects),
SEO optimized for better visibility.
Solution
Instead of starting completely from scratch, we decided on a faster approach by using a reliable WordPress template as the foundation. This allowed for quicker development and more focus on tailoring the site to the client’s needs.
Key steps of the project:
Design customization: we adjusted the color scheme, typography, and visual elements to align with the client’s personal brand.
Content and image integration: incorporated existing UX projects and optimized visuals for better presentation.
Dynamic portfolio: using Advanced Custom Fields (ACF), I built a dynamic system that enables the client to easily add new projects. All she needs to do is duplicate the existing structure, input her content, and the project is automatically styled according to the design.
Content management: I ensured the admin interface is simple, allowing the client to manage content independently without technical knowledge.
SEO optimization: implemented basic optimization for better search engine ranking (meta descriptions, heading structure, fast page loading).
Result
The final website combines functionality with aesthetics:
The client now has a professional online portfolio to confidently present her work.
Adding new projects is quick and straightforward.
The site is future-proof, scalable, and optimized for search engines.
